Integrated Security Systems Design & Execution
Desired Results: A technologically-advanced, well integrated, fully-operational system. Our approach focuses on the operator-technology interface to ensure that the operator uses the full extent of the system’s capabilities.
The systems executed by us extend the eyes, ears and voice of the officer throughout the facility. The system operates as an extension of the console officer’s own senses.
· For example, when a duress alarm occurs, the system should: · Display the location of the alarm on a map · Display relevant video cameras looking at the area of the alarm and escape paths from that area · Open a voice communication channel to a nearby intercom station. · The system must also automate essential tasks, especially during emergencies |
|
The key objectives are to: · Provide immediate and accurate feedback of conditions at monitored locations · Provide the console officer with the ability to assess conditions at alarm location · Provide the console officer with the ability to provide information to dispatched officers · Monitor the movements of suspicious individuals · Potentially provide the console officer with the ability to neutralize a situation by two-way hands-free voice communications with a subject in a high-threat environment
The executed systems should anticipates the console officer’s typical response needs and provides him with the information he needs: · Facilitate good communication – Wireless Links, Fiber optic lines or data networks are used for long cable runs to help assure good quality communications for cameras, voice communications and data integrity · Record events and compile suspicious trends
The system should also accommodate: o Evolving Security Needs – Flexibility of Application o Expansion of the System Capacity o Evolving Technology |
